When you hop off the ferry you will arrive at Thompsons Bay - also known as 'The Settlement'. The race FINISH is located at The Settlement near Hotel Rottnest, however the race START is located at Kingston Barracks, approximately a 1km walk.
It is also important to remember that Rottnest Island does not have any access to cars, and the only way to travel around the Island is by foot, bicycle or the bus service.
