Bike check in is on the morning of the event. Racks will not be numbered, it will be a first in first served basis. Please ensure you are aware of transition opening/closing times.

ENTICER DISTANCE 150M SWIM / 9KM BIKE / 2.5KM RUN Age 12+
KIDS DISTANCE 75M SWIM 3KM BIKE 1KM RUN Age 7 - 11
The age category that you compete in is based on your age day of event. The age categories are as follows
15-18 (MALE AND FEMALE) 19-29 (MALE AND FEMALE) 30-39 (MALE AND FEMALE) 40-49 (MALE AND FEMALE) 50-59 (MALE AND FEMALE) 60-69 (MALE AND FEMALE) 70 PLUS (MALE AND FEMALE)
1st, 2nd and 3rd will be awarded in sprint race, enticer race and rushfest in the above age groups
Rushfest winner will be determined by combining both races (sprint and enticer) and the person with quickest overall time is winner
We pride ourselves on providing competitors the opportunity to enter early, but then withdraw within a reasonable timeframe should their situation change.
Please ensure you are aware of the below refund policy on entering. This policy is part of the terms and conditions of entry. Any change to this policy will be made at the discretion of the Event Director, who has the final say and no further communication will be entered into once the decision has been made.
A 5% cancellation fee will be incurred if you withdraw up until 2months before event A 50% cancellation fee will be incurred if you withdraw between 1-2MoNThs before event A 75% cancellation fee will be incurred if you withdraw less than one month before event NO refunds will be available after 27 november 2019

We understand that circumstances may change, so we allow entries to be transferred into another competitors name or for you to transfer your entry into the 2019 (or other Event people race)
A request for a transfer must be in writing by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org no later than 27/11/2019. Under no circumstance may a competitor race in another competitors name.
JUNIOR STATE SERIES 2019-2020
In 2019/20 Triathlon SA is running a Junior State Series. The series will consist of four individual races.
To be eligible to win the series, athletes must be members of Triathlon SA and must compete in two out of four races in the series. The athletes best three results out of the four races will count for their overall point score in the series
This series is for junior athletes and will also serve as a good introduction to this format of racing for those who wish to go on to race in Triathlon Australia’s National Junior Series races. Athletes in this race series have their age calculated as of 31 December 2020. This date conforms to the rest of the world.

***PLEASE NOTE THAT AT 14 YEARS OLD THE ATHLETE CAN COMPETE IN THE SPRINT DISTANCE AT VICTOR HARBOR AND WE CAN ORGANISE POINTS IF THEY CHOOSE TO RACE THAT DISTANCE. ALSO NOTE THAT 15 YEAR OLD ATHLETES CAN COMPETE IN THE OLYMPIC DISTANCE EVENT, BUT I WOULD RECOMMEND THAT YOU SPEAK TO YOUR COACH OR MYSELF ABOUT THIS IF YOU ARE LOOKING AT THAT DISTANCE***
SA STATE SERIES
The Triathlon SA State Series is Triathlon SA's premier race series for acknowledging the efforts of all athletes over the course of a triathlon season. It rewards those athletes who put in a consistent effort over the nine race series. It also gives athletes of every calibre the opportunity to demonstrate their strength over varied distances and disciplines. The events range from sprint to long distance and includes Triathlon and Aquathlon.
The final reveal of all results will be done at an annual awards presentation which is held at the end of the season.
Every race on the Triathlon SA Published Calendar accrues State Series points with the exception of the Club Championships held on the 29th of March 2019
Up to your best 5 race results make up your points for the season.
You must race a minimum of 3 races to qualify
Tier 1 Points are accrued for the longest distance race at the event
Tier 2 Points are accrued for the second longest distance race at the event
Tier 2 Points are 50% of Tier 1 Points
Only 1 Tier can be accrued by an individual athlete at a race (i.e in the event of an athlete racing two races within a weekend festival of races the highest accrued tier of points will be applied
Only members of Triathlon SA are eligible to earn state series points and you must be a current member at the time of the event.
Categories will be Open M and F and 5 year Age Groups M and F starting from 19 - 24.
Open Male and Female top three will be awarded prize money at the end of the season: 1st: $1,000, 2nd: $400, 3rd: $250
Any member who races Open in 2 or more races will not be eligible for an Age Group award.
* All TA memberships must be valid at the time of check in. * Individual NON Triathlon Australia Members must pay the one day license fee on top of individual entry fee price. * If 1 or more team member is NOT a Triathlon Australia Member, the team must pay the one day license fee on top of the Team entry fee price.
Triathlon Australia Membership
Every athlete is required to hold a valid membership to Triathlon Australia or any other National Triathlon Federation in order to participate in the event.
Annual Members – If you hold a valid annual membership to Triathlon Australia for the 2019/2020 season please ensure you enter your membership number at the time of entry. Please note Triathlon Australia Memberships will need to be renewed for the 2017/18 season prior to the event.
One Day Members (ODM) – Athletes requiring an ODM will be required to purchase a ODM at the time of entry.
