The Warrnambool Tri Club is a committee based non-for profit Tri Club based in Warrnambool. They provide training, coaching, education and support for locals wanting to participate and be involved in triathlon. They have an all inclusive, supportive and encouraging environment for participants of all levels and abilities and hold regular training sessions and races for members and the local community.
The Warrnambool Tri Club were founders of the 'Southwest Sufferfest' and have created a fantastic triathlon weekend that has been enjoyed by local athletes and those travelling to experience this amazing race and location on the South West of Victoria.
The South West Sufferfest, which was born in 2013 by the Warrnambool Triathlon Club has seen continued popularity and growth over the past 3 years. In November 2015, events company XOSIZE Events acquired the rights to run the popular event and will continue to work closely with the Warrnambool Tri Club, local council and other key stake holders to continue to grow, improve and develop the race into a weekend festival while maintaining and acknowledging the fantastic work of those involved that has made this a must do event on every triathletes calendar.
